Whether waking up with brunch, snacking at aperitivo hour or filling up at the bar with the $22 trio (pizza or pasta, beer or wine, and a dessert), there’s an excuse to stop in for any occasion or budget. Seasonal cuisine offering elegantly simple dishes made with solid skill is represented throughout the menu. Here, a wood-burning oven turns out a range of first-rate pizzas, as well as mains, like a perfectly grilled whole branzino set on a plate and topped with a heaping pile of lightly dressed salad greens and shaved radish. For more sweet simplicity, try the Tuscan torta della nonna with baby pine nuts coating a wedge of vanilla-tinged custard pie.
