The room dazzles at every turn with its midcentury modern-meets-contemporary brasserie vibe, just as the kitchen turns out elegant reinterpretations of familiar dishes. Imagine the likes of butter-poached shrimp over tender escarole, or cod topped with a soft brioche, leek crust and sided by artichoke barigoule as well as crisp prosciutto ribbons. The terrific rhubarb clafoutis with a ginger-rhubarb sorbet is so good you won’t want it to ever end. Brunch is available daily, so you’ll no longer need to wait for the weekend. Street views charm, but head to the rooftop for an even better vantage point.
