It may have moved to a new location in 2018 but this Shanghainese restaurant still offers warm service, fresh ingredients and delicious home-style dishes. While the dining room is now brighter and bigger (shortening the waiting time significantly), the prices remain wallet-friendly. Must-try items include braised chicken in brown sauce and fried yellow croaker. Most ingredients are in limited supply and it’s advisable to come early.
