More than two decades after the colorful, upscale design-focused W hotels first entered the scene, the first W in Japan opened its doors — and not in Tokyo, either. W Osaka is as vibrant and glamorous as you’d expect it to be, though its riotous interiors are concealed inside a 2001-like black monolith of a building by architect Tadao Ando.
