Indigo, the InterContinental Hotel Group’s boutique-hotel brand, isn’t shy about adopting the visual language of the design hotel — this one, in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island, is a riot of color, graphic patterns, and eclectic furnishings, an homage to one of the city’s most colorful neighborhoods. Space is always at a premium in this town, but the rooms make the most of it, and add thoughtful comforts like Nespresso machines. There’s a restaurant, Indicolite, serving an all-day menu on the second floor, as well as the 29th-floor Skybar, serving cocktails, wine, and light fare alongside a glass-bottomed swimming pool.
