Woodlark
Woodlark has attractions of its own, of course: Bullard, a Texas-meets-Oregon restaurant, and Abigail Hall, a remarkably cozy craft cocktail bar. Good Coffee is good indeed, a worthy entry in a city whose coffee game is strong, and its breakfast menu features kolaches, a Texan specialty courtesy of Bullard chef Doug Adams.
And that’s saying nothing of the rooms, which cut an elegant figure in near-monochrome, livened by emerald-hued headboards and sapphire-toned upholstery. The beautiful subway-tiled bathrooms come stocked with MiN bath products, and the room-service menu features ice creams by Salt & Straw, a Northwest favorite. And it wouldn’t be the West Coast without some impressive health and fitness options — Woodlark offers in-room online workouts by barre3, and the fitness center features Peloton bikes.
