Tucked away in lakeside Nansensgade, between the Copenhagen city center and the hip district of Nørrebro, is the Hotel Kong Arthur, a stately 1882 building that’s now home to a 155-room hotel with a remarkably expansive selection of facilities, including an impressive spa and fitness center. It feels secluded, but it’s less than a half-hour on foot to anything in the city center, and it’s something of a destination in its own right, thanks to its multitude of restaurants; it’s a popular breakfast spot for locals as well as guests, and offers sushi, Mediterranean, and Italian options as well.
