MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

(Restaurant is temporarily closed due to Covid-19 crisis.) The restaurant is set in the lush gardens of The Peninsula Hotel alongside the Chao Phraya River and its traditional Thai menu ticks all the right boxes. Spice levels are full-on, a major boon to the local families that come here and specialities include Kaeng Phet Pet Yang (red duck curry) and Pla-Hi-Ma Sam Rot (deep-fried snow fish with a sweet and sour sauce). The riverside terrace and indoor Thai-style salas with antiques up the ante on romance and service is top-notch.
