MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

A portmanteau of ‘octopus’ and ‘chicken’, two ingredients rarely found in the same dish, the name hints at how this tapas-bar-turned-restaurant fuses ideas and inspiration from around the globe including from culinary luminaries like Heston Blumenthal. Despite putting a creative spin on each of his mash-ups, Executive Chef Johnny Liu strives to keep the old-world feel. Larder ingredients – from cheeses and butter to pasta and pickles – are made from scratch in-house.
