MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Gen strives to be the new ‘it’ destination for yakitori and drinks, with its contemporary style and slight vintage feel not dissimilar to a Japanese whisky bar. Smartly dressed staff offer traditional Japanese service, while the menu includes a variety of dishes, not just yakitori. Drinks-wise, choose a fine whisky or a Japanese-style highball. Unlike sister restaurant, Jidori Cuisine Ken, this venue focuses more on visitors and the luxury market.
