Just outside the charming village center of San Pantaleo, this is easily one of Sardinia’s best Japanese restaurants. It’s the realized dream of an Italian chef who learned the craft while working around the world and who, in a minimalist, welcoming setting, deftly prepares an array of sushi and gyoza, plus mushi-pan (steamed cakes), soups, and more. Pristine flavors are assured by the kitchen’s reliance on mostly fresh Sardinian fish. To finish, creative Italian-inspired desserts appear alongside classic oriental mochi.
