Fruits and vegetables contain a wealth of nutrients that we should incorporate in our diets to boost our immune system, aid digestion and inspire a general sense of well-being. But if you don’t care for raw vegetables or have trouble digesting fiber, juicing can be an easy way to add them into your diet as well as trying fruits and veggies that you wouldn’t normally eat.

Eating your fruits and vegetables whole has the added benefit of dietary fibre, and while some of that is lost in the juicing process, you can consider blending instead of juicing, which preserves more nutrients and fibre. You should make only as much as you can drink each time to keep the juices fresh and the nutritional content at its most optimum. (Freshly-squeezed juice can quickly develop harmful bacteria and turn bad.)

Nutritionist Tee Chee Hoo recommends these five juice blends to supplement your diet.
