This Street Food Festival Will Showcase Michelin Starred and Bib Gourmand Restaurants In One Location

Get set for a street food fest with some of the best that Singapore has to offer.
Imagine tearing into the luscious assortment of breads from Singapore’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant Joel Robuchon’s bread trolley one moment, and then savouring the sweetness of Bib Gourmand awarded Wedang's beautifully seared satay the next  without having to traipse across the island.

These two establishments are some way apart but come 14 and 15 April 2017, the acclaimed French restaurant and the hawker stall will be joining 11 other names in one location at the first edition of Michelin Guide Street Food Festival

The two-day affair aims to showcase Singapore’s multicultural culinary might ranging from French, Japanese, Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisines rated in last year’s debut of the red guide. Good food is after all, an undisputed national past time.

Besides fine dining temple Joel Robuchon, other starred names includes two-Michelin-starred Shoukouwa which will be setting up a Tsukiji Market-style stall, hawker Chan’s one-Michelin-starred Hong Kong Soya Sauce and Noodle as well as The Song of India which will be serving up Indian street snacks like Punjabi garbanzo samosa chat and pistachio kulfi with falooda noodle.

“I am so excited to present the best of Indian street food dishes at the festival,” says head chef Manjunath Mural of The Song of India. “These are my favourite food since childhood!”

On the Bib Gourmand front, expect highlights like JB Ah Meng’s signature bee hoon and white pepper crab, Wedang’s satay, tauhu goreng and gado gado as well as delicious mini noodle bowls by A Noodle Story.

The event will be held at Resorts World Sentosa’s The Coliseum in two sessions: 6 to 8pm and 8:30 to 10:30pm on both days. All purchases will be made through coupons. Entry is with a purchase of $20 worth of credits. Get more info here.
