MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

It might be easy for Klein's to mail it in being that it's on the bottom floor of the stylish Hoxton Hotel. But, despite its ultra-chic, vintage-luxe setting—with sky-high exposed brick walls and an open kitchen lined with stools for chef-gawking and drinking—it manages to infuse its diverse fare with devoted care and attention. Service is helpful and although there is a hefty sprinkling of locals, the vibe is celebratory.

Dinner might begin with warm tortilla chips and a savory avocado dip with feta and spiced pepitas. Mains may unveil a double-decker chicken sandwich with cool cucumber, dill yogurt, and hot sauce—as well as a side of irresistible fries. The refreshing Summer Daze (Tequila Altos, pineapple, lime, and tajin salt) hits all the right spots.
