MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Named after Count Camillo Negroni, the legendary inventor of the “perfect cocktail,” this Roman-themed restaurant has the same contemporary yet warm Italian style that’s made its sibling (Locanda Vini e Olii) a hit. Dressed in subtle shades of slate and green, the space boasts a sizable front bar, ideal for enjoying one of the nine Negroni variations on offer. The menu must-try is pinsa, a lighter Roman cousin to the Neapolitan pizza that’s baked to crisp. While one version may unveil the flavors of a classic Margherita, it's the half amatriciana-half cacio e pepe that captures many a heart, thanks to ample doses of pecorino romano and black pepper. Save room for the vegetarian carbonara, which swaps guanciale for zucchini.
