MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The selling points here are the casual atmosphere, like that of a kappo restaurant or izakaya, and the Japanese cuisine. In spring, scallops and rape blossoms are the standard offering. A novel item in summer is the hamburger made from hamo and manganji togarashi. Satsuma age made with seasonal fish testifies to the chef’s Kagoshima roots. Every dish comes in a generous size for sharing and the place is also open late.
