But look beyond the ornate ceilings and aquamarine banquettes, and you’ll find a menu that revolves around live-fire cooking on an open hearth and a robust fermentation program with jars lining the kitchen walls. Saffron ravioli tucked with tender duck confit delivers unexpected flavors thanks to grilled squash, pickled cayenne and a rich broth. Chicken Milanese rests over grilled summer beans and peppers, but the blackberry crisp impresses with its thick and bubbling blackberry filling and oat crumble topping.
