Paris is always a good idea — and its top-tier hotels elevate every visit to unforgettable. From charming hideaways to grand, storied palaces, there’s a perfect stay for every style and budget in the City of Light.
This year, the MICHELIN Key rating system continues to spotlight France’s finest accommodations, with One, Two, or Three MICHELIN Key distinctions — consider it the sister rating to our coveted restaurant Stars. The 2025 MICHELIN Guide features 22 prestigious Three-Key hotels, 38 standout Two-Key hotels, and 142 exceptional One-Key hotels in France, many nestled in the vibrant heart of Paris.
For those planning their Parisian escape, we’ve unlocked our Inspectors' little black book to share the city’s most extraordinary hotels — guaranteed to make your stay truly memorable.
Three-Key Hotels
Paris, FranceDestinations in themselves, the Three-Key hotels are so exceptional they're standalone reasons to hop over to Paris. Spend a night at the sumptuous Saint James, credited with being Paris’ only chateau-hotel, and spend the evening perched on a high stool in the library bar, an Old Fashioned in hand, surrounded by years of literary history.
Speaking of history, you can’t do better than the Ritz, with its regal rooms and sprawling, bouncy beds where staff will have your initials embroidered on every pillow, even just for a night.
Another standout is the Cheval Blanc, which has enough to tempt you to never set foot outside, from its dazzling pool to the rooftop restaurants with some of the most enchanting views of Paris.

One-Key Hotels
Paris, FranceParis might be packed with grandes dames steeped in history, but it also offers more contemporary locales. Favorites like Le Ballu, with a leafy courtyard, tucked away on a Pigalle backstreet and Le Grand Mazarin, decked out in maximalist patterns and textures that capture the joie de vivre of today’s Paris — with one of the city’s most lively restaurants to match — earned Keys for the second consecutive year.
Meanwhile, three new One-Key hotels were unveiled in 2025, each representing the capital's charm in its own way. Hotel Balzac Paris has truly earned its name: not only does the establishment stand just steps from the Champs-Élysées, but the building was also constructed on the very site of the writer's last residence.
Paris can also boast of hosting the LXR group's first French address with SAX Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts, an impressive building with sculptural lighting that blends precious marble and warm leather in true Left Bank sophistication.
Finally, in a more discreet style, Inspectors also recognized Villa-des-Prés, a new Art Deco establishment in the Saint-Germain district with views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur.
