Sitting in between the historical Sherq Bazaar and the ultra-modern Heydar Aliyev Center, the Ritz-Carlton Baku's location seems to reflect Azerbaijan itself, which blends together a fascinating mix of old and new. Inside the hotel, however, the emphasis is definitely on the latter. By night, the speakeasy-style cocktail bar, Blind Tiger, shakes up a whiskey-forward menu, complementing the American classics served at the New York-inspired Tribeca.
