MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
A good location in the Baixa de Coimbra, the section of the old town occupied by merchants and artisans in the Middle Ages. If you’re keen to try the famous Portuguese bacalao you won’t find a better place, as this restaurant impresses with its attractive interior design on two floors, stone walls, a glass-enclosed inner patio and lots of natural light. À la carte and set menu options feature a variety of regional specialities, superb cod dishes cooked in different ways, and a good selection of meats.
