MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Although it’s located in a shopping mall, the exposed brick, tiles, bookcases and stained glass window add genuine warmth and colour to this large room. Sichuan and Shanghainese dishes are the mainstay of the menu and dishes are simply prepared, full of flavour and affordably priced. Look out for Madam Zhu’s specialty roast duck; steamed chicken in scallion oil sauce; and fried smoked pomfret in soy sauce.
