Here, in the former premises of the Amelia restaurant, you can discover Italian flavours as interpreted by chef Paulo Airaudo in contemporary dishes with a definite gourmet feel that are very different to the normal fare usually found in a trattoria. Da Filippo describes a meal here as “an experience for all the senses” and one which is centred around a single tasting menu. One dish that won us over in particular was the intense yet delicate duck, butter and thyme cappelletti. The wine list, featuring both Spanish and Italian options, includes an excellent choice of wines by the glass.
