Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
In the northern part of the Aire and Candeeiros Mountains Natural Park, and relatively close to the spiritual town of Fátima, the small parish of Alvados surprises visitors with a tremendously unique restaurant; it is no coincidence that the chef in charge, Diogo Caetano, considers it his own personal culinary haven! Inside its modern setting, dominated by wood and with large glass panes overlooking both the surroundings and the adjacent hotel pool, you can enjoy creative cuisine that always aims to exalt the region’s flavours and produce. It offers an à la carte service (we especially enjoyed the venison tartare with roasted garlic and mustard ice cream) and a good tasting menu (9 courses).
