MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Since 2016, this restaurant has been making quality Huaiyang food according to the Recipes from Sui Garden, a gastronomic bible by the poet, Yuan Mei. The décor incorporates Jiangnan motifs like moon gates and a tiled roof. Ingredients are shipped from Suzhou daily, with culinary highlights, such as wine-marinated steamed crabs, steamed buns with crabmeat and roe, and sautéed sliced eel. Friendly service and approachable prices are also a plus.
