Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
This culinary landmark for several decades in Lanxi, Zhejiang Province opened a sibling establishment in Hangzhou in 2023. Most of the front-of-house and kitchen staff are Lanxi natives and they also source the majority of their produce from their home city. Pork and scallion stuffed egg pancakes resemble gold medallions, crispy and flavoursome. Sliced pork sautéed with white chillies has noticeable smokiness and a hint of mild heat.
