Named after a Latin word meaning ‘fire’ or ‘passion’, Ardor is a smart modern brasserie in the heart of St Ives. Chef-Owner Dorian spent a lot of his childhood in Spain and it shows on the menu from beginning to end, from chorizo pillow bread to crèma catalana. Cornish seafood plays a key role, given a vibrant Mediterranean touch by the chefs, while some produce is cooked over the charcoal grill.
