MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

This outpost of its renowned namesake in Tokyo that opened in 1937 boasts a sushi bar, a tempura counter, a tatami area, and decked walkways over golden pebble filled ponds that connect to the private rooms. Two Japanese chefs take turns to make tempura with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Besides watching the culinary magic unfold, you can also enjoy dazzling firework displays from the restaurant. Set menus are available at lunch.
