Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

The hotel's Stay and Dine staycation package lets you enjoy a getaway that is filled with gastronomic delights. Guests get to enjoy two glasses of Prosecco served during dinner, a daily breakfast for two, as well as a choice to upgrade the complimentary three-course set dinner for two at The Lounge to a six-course dinner at three-MICHELIN-starred Lung King Heen at an additional cost. Led by chef Chan Yan Tak, Lung King Heen was the first Cantonese restaurant in the world to be recognised with three MICHELIN stars. Wok-fried Wagyu with Morels and Peppers and Simmered Lobster in Crystal Sauce are two of our Inspectors' favourite dishes there.

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong 

Celebrate Christmas early with the hotel’s Santa is Callin' staycation package that pampers you with a series of privileges including a round-trip limousine transfer, Christmas welcome amenities, HKD1,500 gift voucher from bespoke menswear brand Magnus & Novus and more. Foodies will probably be drawn to the HKD$1,000 (for L450 room guests), HKD$1,500 (for L600 room guests) or HKD$2,000 (for L900 suite guests) dining credit that you can use at the hotel's restaurants, including at two-MICHELIN-starred Amber. Helmed by chef Richard Ekkebus, Amber offers a prix-fixe menu of dishes that are dairy- and gluten-free as well as with reduced salt and sugar. Guests can also enjoy a 20 per cent discount at the hotel's select restaurants that the list includes Amber as well.

As part of the hotel's Beyond the Horizon staycation program, you will first be settled into a luxurious room that is adorned with uninterrupted views of the harbour or the peak, you can then unwind in the exclusive Horizon Club with complimentary afternoon treats or early evening cocktails. For dinner, choose between a sumptuous dinner buffet at cafe TOO, or enjoy a 5-course dinner at one-MICHELIN-starred Summer Palace. Under the direction of chef Leung Yu King, Summer Palace excels at crafting dishes with traditional Cantonese cooking techniques, and their set menu includes dishes such as Double-boiled Bamboo Fungus Soup with Morel Mushroom and Cabbage and Stewed Wagyu Beef Cheek with Chef's Special Preserved Bean Paste.

The Upper House 

To celebrate the hotel's 11th year anniversary, the hotel has recently launched a Celebrating Eleven staycation package that allows guests who book their 70 sq m Studio 70 room to enjoy a list of benefits. It includes early check-in and late check-out, complimentary access to group wellness classes on weekends and a 3-course wine pairing dinner at Café Gray Deluxe, a MICHELIN Plate restaurant. Expect European and American dishes with the restaurant's own twist while dining there, and don't miss the steak tartare, a signature dish of the restaurant's late consulting chef Gray Kunz.

Designed especially for foodies, the hotel's Grand Dining Getaway program will indulge its guests in a 24-hour stay filled with unique dining experiences. Guests can choose from a range of dining options such as having an afternoon tea with a bottle of champagne or a barbecue dinner buffet at the poolside restaurant, as well as a 6-course lunch or dinner set menu at One Harbour Road, a Chinese restaurant recognised with a MICHELIN Plate. One Harbour Road is known for its dishes that are as delicious as they are nourishing, and the set menu comprises signature items such as Deep-fried Crab Shell Filled with Crab Meat and Onion and Chilled Sago Cream with Mango and Pomelo.

The tallest hotel in Hong Kong, The Ritz Carlton is now offering an aptly named Sky High staycation package that allows you to stay in a room that is situated on the 100th floor or above, but what's more is the package also lets you enjoy a 20 per cent discount at the hotel's spa, as well as its dining venues including one-MICHELIN-starred Tosca di Angelo. Helmed by chef Angelo Agliano who hails from Sicily, Tosca di Angelo offers Italian plates that are unfussy but refined. According to our Inspectors, his spaghetti Mancini is a must-try, and his modern take on rum babà will leave a lasting impression.

The hotel is now offering a staycation package for 4 persons to stay at its Executive Suite, which features an in-room kitchen. Guests can cook up a feast in the comfort of their own rooms, or enjoy breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, along with a 30 per cent discount at all of the hotel's restaurants and bars. A highlight of the package includes an in-room meal prepared by the chef of one-MICHELIN-starred Cantonese restaurant Ming Court. The nine-course dinner features Peking Duck, Braised South African Abalone, Baked Black Cod with Black Bean, among other dishes, and ends with a soothing dried mandarin peel pu-eh tea that will give you the ultimate comfort after a sumptuous meal.
