Looking for the sure-fire way to please the foodie in your life? Lifestyle and home-dining concept store Date by Tate of two-MICHELIN-starred Tate has got you covered with an elaborate Valentine’s Day gift set and gastronomy box. Present to you by chef and owner Vicky Lau, the “Ode to Bee” gift set (HK$2,600) is nothing short of romantic, featuring a beautiful flower bouquet—curated and sourced from growers across Europe in support of Flower Council Holland—placed on top. The second layer is a sweet tray of treats made from local honey, including fours individually wrapped honey financiers, two honey sugar cane lollipops, a jar of rose-infused honey, and a greeting card. The last layer showcases delightful chocolates made with Valrhona dark, white and milk chocolate ganache.

The gastronomy box, presented in true Tate fashion, can be ordered individually (HK$1,280 per box, minimum two boxes) or in a set (HK$3,000). The special Valentine’s Day comes with a bread basket featuring Tate’s signature homemade brioche and fermented tofu butter, followed by seasonal appetizers and a sweet corn soup. The main course is available in two choices: beef bourguignon or cod fish with scallop mousse. The desserts are no less impressive, wrapping up the meal with a honey passion fruit entremet, and mignardises consist of crispy honey and honey lollipop using honey from a local bee farm.
