Dreaming of owning a restaurant, the chef gave up a job as a culinary instructor to found Raticha. The restaurant, whose name means ‘happiness’ in Thai, serves quality Thai cuisine in a semi-industrial barn-like building overlooking a rice field. The chef’s skills and his sensitivity to balancing flavours shine in dishes like the red curry with roasted pork and lychees. Don’t miss the house-made desserts; they’re best paired with the well-selected coffee.
