Whether you’re dining inside or sipping house-made tea on the patio of this Lanna mountain home, the air at 1,200 metres will be cool and the panoramic vista stunning. It’s enough to make you giddy, which might be why the place is named “hill” (Mon) “of fun” (Muan). Among the menu’s pan-regional and northern Thai fare, baked pork spare ribs with lemongrass and the Mon Muan Chilli dip set shine, along with veggie dishes made with local produce.
