You’ll know there is indeed something special going on here when you see the number of regulars pack into the tiny, no-frills space, which claims a whopping four tables and small takeaway counter to its name. The owners are a father-daughter duo (Paul and Rebecca Yu) who originally had a larger space, but have since downsized into this warm little spot—and their loyal crowds don't seem to mind.
Start with the pan-fried pork buns, a quintet of pillowy buns filled with delicious, juicy pork and seared to crisp, golden perfection. Vegetarian potstickers are equally divine, sporting a vibrant, tender stuffing of colorful vegetables and rice noodles as well as a crisp shell. Noodle fans take note—the broths are solid, but play second fiddle to the dumplings.
