Situated to the east of the city just outside the historic centre, a romantic tone sets the scene in this restaurant, which is something of a surprise when compared to its exterior. The dining room boasts all the trappings of a French bistro with small tables, background music (often French) and a few cubby-holes that are perfect for couples. Deeply rooted in Balkan traditions, the menu rolls out wholesome soups and stews, such as lamb in white wine served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, a lineup of fresh pasta dishes and vegetarian options like vegan curry with chickpeas, sweet potatoes and green beans.
