The pared-down décor works in this two-storey restaurant, because the lake views deserve your full attention. The menu is creatively divided into sections named refreshing, story-telling and heart-warming, but in short, they are just updated Beijingese classics. Peking duck is the star item here – meticulously carved and served with eight condiments. The sweets platter is worth a mention as all five items are tasty and exceptionally well-made.
