MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Tucked away in a quiet nook of a bustling neighborhood west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seochon Chef Kim is an Italian osteria that serves up some classic dishes from various regions of Italy. Chef Kim Do-hyung prepares all the fresh pastas in his kitchen, daily, including ravioli - the variety of which changes seasonally - and lasagna. Fan favorites include arancini, Duroc tonnato (Chef Kim's reinterpretation of the classic Piedmontese dish using Duroc pork) and sea urchin pasta. The menu items are subject to change according to seasonality and availability.
