MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Tucked away in a quiet residential alley in Nonhyeon-dong and without any noticeable entrance sign, this restaurant's presence is near-imperceptible. A popular neighborhood joint, it has only eight seats; but an extensive bar table creates an attractive, airy feel. Helmed by a young chef duo, their dishes are combined expression of the unique richness of Italian cooking and the refined simplicity of its Japanese counterpart, as showcased in herring terrine wrapped in bacon; bagna càuda; and steak with yogurt sauce. Another must-try delicacy is the charcoal-grilled duck, dry-aged for six days. Reservation recommended for the tasting menu.
