MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The restaurant is named after a hit song from the 1960s. The title, expressing regret for not requiting love, says something about the slightly blunt-mannered but, at heart, engaging owner-chef. The menu covers a wide variety, from yoshoku to French cuisine. The assortment and the seared beef a la Jiro are popular appetisers. The grilled white-fleshed fish with uni sauce was inspired by Fernand Point's Steamed Flounder au Champagne.
