This restaurant has been a culinary landmark for decades, thanks to well-crafted cuisine and inspired recipes. Two young local lads are now at its helm. The dishes, which exhibit a particularly minimalist approach, star carefully selected ingredients, often sourced locally. In the evening, diners can choose between a “Signature Menu” or a “Vegetarian Menu”, while the lunchtime lineup is very sensibly priced. The emphasis is clearly on creating an enjoyable dining experience from the buzzy vibe and stylish interior to the attentive, friendly service, without forgetting insightful wine tips (the white Metphusus goes down a treat with the poultry breast stuffed in morels!). Alfresco dining on the terrace is heavenly come summertime.
