MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The owner’s switch to Japanese cooking was occasioned by his wanting to properly prepare the fish he caught himself. For that reason, seafood has pride of place on the menu. Appetisers come in the form of small bowls of seasonal ingredients, reflecting the time of year. For customers he knows well, he’ll also serve omelettes with a filling of ketchup-seasoned fried rice if requested. The famous winter dish is mazegohan of female snow crab seasoned with sudachi.
