MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

As you would expect from an izakaya popular with sake lovers, there is a wide selection of quality sake. Here you can try oden made with dashi from katsuo-bushi and chicken bones. Typical items include daikon with shredded kombu and chicken meat balls accented with yuzu pepper. There are also unusual kinds of oden like grilled mackerel and tomatoes. Popular among the à la carte items are the hand-rolled croquettes with the pleasant texture of lotus root.
