MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Born in Uwajima, Ehime, the owner-chef puts together a menu of seafood delivered directly from his hometown. The sashimi is all about freshness, just as it is back home. The Iwagaki oysters from Misho Bay are rich in flavour. Moray eel karaage and Jakoten (fried fish paste) are also familiar hometown tastes. The ‘Satsumameshi’ speciality is a home-style dish featuring grilled fish and barley miso dashi over rice. Enjoy local Nanyo cuisine.
