MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Enjoy all sorts of Sichuan and Shanghai dishes featuring homemade sauce. The chef is particularly proud of the original Hoei sauce made from dried shrimp and shrimp paste – it’s used to season dishes like the shrimp and wild rice stir-fry, and the fried rice. There are also the standard dishes like spicy chicken and mapo tofu. Of the rice dishes, we recommend the rice cooked in an earthenware pot where fragrant onion sauce complements flavoursome sausage.
