MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

With 80 years of history in Osaka, this restaurant brings to Edo the tastes of Naniwa from the time of its founding. The mixed okonomiyaki has interesting names like ‘Okiku no Kata’, a seafood and pork mix, and ‘Benkei’, which comes with mochi. There are à la carte dishes like Japanese mustard spinach prepared in dashi, and fish cake isobe age-style. There’s no iron plate so there’s no smoke. In the afternoon, the restaurant is run as a café serving sweets.
