This restaurant is famous for its takikomi-gohan cooked in an earthenware pot. The rice is grown with loving care by the owner-chef's parents. Tai is the staple ingredient, with others such as bamboo shoot, sweetcorn, and oysters used on a seasonal basis. With a laidback atmosphere, it is a drop-in place for the locals. In fact, the owner-chef chose to locate himself in a commercial district so as to put roots down in the local community.
