The shelves of this tiny bistro near Passage des Panoramas, piled high with jars of preserves and spices, set the tone of the establishment. Poised between the Middle East and the West, it is the stronghold of Israeli chef Tamir Nahmias, who trained at the Institut Paul Bocuse, then worked at Frenchie Astrance. In a universe reminiscent of Yotam Ottolenghi, small plates blend Middle Eastern influences and French techniques. In the short, fresh menu, spices naturally take centre stage, such as in the Lebanese fatayer of lamb or spicy muhammara dip.
