Three MICHELIN Keys · An extraordinary stay
Ramatuelle, just inland and uphill from Saint-Tropez, was arguably at its most glamorous in the ’50s and ’60s, and it’s from this era that La Réserve Ramatuelle draws its inspiration. Here hotelier Michel Reybier and designer Jacques Garcia have crafted a hotel experience that feels both timeless and rich with history, incorporating classic Provençal elements as well as high-modernist gestures and details inspired by the artists that made the mid-century French Riviera such a legendary destination.
Part of the magic, of course, is specific to La Réserve and its brand of ultra-tasteful luxury. Like its sister in Paris it’s an unmistakably high-end experience, but one that doesn’t need to hammer the point home — the setting is stunning, the comforts are first-rate, and anyone worth impressing is already here. Its modest size adds to its discreetly hushed atmosphere, and its rooms, suites, and villas offer a remarkable sense of privacy.
To its already formidable offerings La Réserve Ramatuelle adds an expansive Spa Nescens, complete with an indoor swimming pool and a seemingly limitless menu of treatments. And its restaurants easily rise to the standard set by the rest of the hotel’s facilities; alongside a poolside restaurant and a terrace bar you’ll find the Japanese La Muña, the classically Mediterranean La Brasserie, and chef Eric Canino’s impressive La Voile, recipient of a pair of MICHELIN Stars.
