Hyatt Centric Milano Centrale
The look is sober, in muted dark tones and wood grain — in this city the design hotels are for grownups. Superior and deluxe rooms are plush and spacious, while some junior suites add private terraces. Others have private Turkish baths, and the full-size suites span some 40 square meters. Meanwhile the spa includes its own Turkish bath as well as one of the Roman variety. Public spaces include the lobby café Intermezzo, the restaurant Rivington Cucina New York, and, best of all, the spectacular (and self-explanatory) Organics SkyGarden @Cielo.
The location is just outside the old city center proper, but right in between Milan’s twin rail stations, so it’s anything but inconvenient. Corso Como and Corso Garibaldi are entertainment-district highlights, and the Golden Quadrangle, Milan’s famous luxury-goods mecca, is two metro stations away.
