Oltrarno Splendid
If you know their previous work you know to expect a dizzying blend of Renaissance architecture, contemporary luxury design, 20th-century pop nostalgia, and much else — in fact “minimalist” might be the only thing Oltrarno Splendid isn’t. In many rooms you’ll find beautiful freestanding baths, and in all of them you’ll find espresso machines, and personality to spare. No two are alike, which makes repeat visits a treat. Beyond a thoughtful breakfast buffet, services are fairly minimal, but this close to central Florence you’re a few minutes’ walk from just about anything you could possibly need.

The hotel is centrally located, but far enough away from the more touristy areas. The hotel has such beautiful, old world charm. The staff members are so welcoming and truly accommodate every request. Because we are tablet plus members, we even received a bottle of wine, a fruit plate and these beautiful tote bags upon arrival. It felt like a truly immersive Italian experience! We loved it.

This hotel was one of our absolute favorites. It was a perfect location in a charming neighborhood in Florence. There was so much character in each part of the hotel and the staff was incredible. The staff helped us arrange transportation to our next destination and were always so lovely any time we had questions or needed anything. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!
