MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Despite its distance from downtown, this restaurant is busy every night. The reason lies in the flavours so good they provoke a desire to overindulge. Despite a simple appearance, the dishes are creative. There are some unexpected novel combinations of ingredients, like the somen with young ayu and the tamagokake-gohan with karasumi. Dishes like curry and ramen are served at the end. The ‘Noguchi style’ is freewheeling licence not obsessed with form.
