You can either sit at the ground-floor counter surrounding the open kitchen, or opt for a table in the cosy upstairs room at this fun and popular Shoreditch spot. The décor is understated but the atmosphere is lively, warm and inclusive. The menu of small plates designed for sharing takes most of its influences from across Italy; pasta features prominently, with highlights being tagliarini with Dorset crab and gnudi with cavolo nero sauce. A small list of low intervention wines is also on offer.
